New Lucky Me! Sopas (chicken flavor) Product Review

I am not a noodle lover but I cook instant noodles once in a while. Well, let me share something weird lately and this I found in one grocery store because it its something new and it literally caught my attention. A back cover of LuckyMe! tells people to limit consumption of instant noodles which includes its product although it didn't specify why are they telling people not to. Is it because instant noodles aren't healthy? Let me check on the label.


It is a new product of Lucky Me!, and it’s flavor is my all time favorite, sopas (chicken flavour). Now let me share with you its back cover, and let’s talk about its content. As what I am seeing here, this noodle claims that it contains essential nutrients the body needs that are usually not present in sufficient amount in regular Filipino diet. This noodle is rich in carbohydrate which provides energy. And Lucky Me! Sopas noodle has 18 grams per pack. It has low sugar content which I thought is good. Having two grams of sugar is not bad I suppose. It has dietary fiber which is two grams per pack, plus three grams of protein and 2% of iron, which is good also for kids.

And what I really like about Lucky Me! Noodle product is they are not adding artificial preservatives. Don’t you find it good, too? I think if I will rate this product 1 to 5 where 5 is the highest, I'll give it a 4. I still don't recommend it for daily consumption, especially for people who have high predisposition to urinary track infection or have history of renal failure. Its something that you can turn into if you ran out of food eat at home.
